Wisteria frutescens
Common name: American Wisteria
Flowers are purple to purple-blue, abundant, showy racemes. Trellising is recommended for this plant- it can damage trees if allowed to climb and grow without pruning. Requires half-day sun and good garden soil. Be prepared to wait 2-3 years for blooms, but you’ll be glad you did!
