Common name: Purple Meadow Rue
Purple Meadow Rue gets its name from the long, dark purple flowering stalks. Flowers are cream colored with showy, yellow stamens on male flowers. Blooms occur early to mid summer and last 2-3 weeks. Prefers wetter conditions, particularly if placed in full sun.
