Symphoricarpos albus
Common name: Snowberry
Snowberry is a plant with large white berries that hold on for most of the winter. We are constantly looking for native plants that grow 3 feet in height or less. Not only does this plant do that, but it will also grow in dry shade under oak trees. This plant will sucker and create a thicket. The birds will eat the fruit as an emergency food in the wintertime.
