Sisyrinchium albidum
Common name: Eastern Blue-Eyed Grass
Blue-eyed grass is not a grass at all, but is in the Iris Family. This dainty plant grows 6 to 8 inches tall and the leaves are long, narrow blades. The small blue flowers are borne near the top of the plant on slender stalks. Can form neat grass-like clumps. Blooms May-June.
