Ratibida pinnata
Common name: Yellow Coneflower
Yellow Coneflower has attractive, large yellow flowers and a tall, upright stature. Blooming period lasts up to 2 months and occurs mid summer. This plant can tolerate a wide range of growing conditions but has a tendency to flop over if soils are too rich and fertile. Full sun conditions will produce the best blooms. Although it is rhizomatous and will form small clumps, it is not overly aggressive. A great choice for sunny landscapes and gardens.
