Quercus bebbiana

Common name: Bur x White Oak

Native plant

A cross between Quercus alba and Quercus macrocarpa that we have been growing on and off for many years. We have found a parent plant that seems to be a good balance between the two, unlike in past years when seedlings have strongly resembled one parent or the other. In fact we wish all who think they can tell the difference all the best.
