Peltandra virginica

Common name: Arrow Arum

Native plant

One of the truely unique plants of Illinois wetlands. It grows in standing water but will grow fine in areas that dry down as long as the ground stays very wet for a vast majority of the year. The flowers are similar to green dragon (Arisaema dracontium) and the leaves look like giant spearheads.

Contract grow only.
