Oenothera pilosella
Common name: Prairie Sundrops
Day flowering member of the evening primrose family. Abundant large yellow flowers put on quite a showy display in late spring/early summer. Plants tend to fade and look slightly less attractive during summer months. Best used in beds where shrubs and larger perennials will fill out later in the season.
