Native plant
Mainly a wetland plant, Ludwigia bears distinctive, box-like fruit, filled with many seeds that rattle when shaken, hence the common names seedbox or rattle-box. The plant produces attractive yellow blossoms throughout the summer and grows to about 3’ tall. A great plant for wet swampy areas!
