Helianthus divaricatus
Common name: Woodland Sunflower
A big, tall Sunflower that can grow in partial shade on moist to dry ground in all kinds of habitats is a bit of a departure for most in the genus, as they tend to specialize in a couple key habitats. Be warned though if this species is given space it will tend on the push side when around others but for use in areas that need to be covered in something cheery to look at it fits the bill nicely.
