Euthamia graminifolia
Common name: Grass-Leaved Goldenrod
Formerly Solidago graminifolia, this goldenrod has much finer leaves than others. It presents the same striking, abundant yellow blooms in fall that we expect from a goldenrod, providing an excellent late season food source for all of your favorite pollinators. Songbirds such as Eastern Goldfinch and Swamp Sparrows find their seeds a tasty treat in late fall and early winter. This plant is rhizomatous and can be somewhat pushy in the landscape. Place in part sun conditions with less moisture to keep spreading to a minimum.
