Common name: White Prairie Clover
White prairie clover has numerous, small white flowers arranged in short, dense spikes. It prefers full sun and dry to moist, well drained soils. This dainty plant grows between 1-3’ tall and blooms June-Sept. White prairie clover is a host plant for Dogface Butterflies. Plant native White Prairie Clover in the butterfly garden or prairie meadow with other native wildflowers.
(Synonym: Petalostemum candidum.)
