Clematis virginiana
Common name: Virgin's Bower
Virgin’s Bower has white flowers that bloom in August, which is several weeks before the Oriental Sweet Autumn Clematis. The seed set is a cluster of puffballs that are very ornamental until December. This clematis vine has a very enthusiastic growth pattern, and sometimes it can be darn aggressive.
