Carex grayi
Common name: Gray's Sedge
The dark green, wide leaves and unique seed heads of this sedge make it an excellent choice to add ornamental value to the landscape. Its rhizomatous root system will aid in soil stabaliation, and it can tolerate a bit of shade, flooding and wide range of soil conditions.
