Baptisia alba
Common name: White Wild Indigo
Almost shrub-like, this plant has multiple horizontal stems that end in long racemes of large white flowers that can extend nearly 2' in length. Flowers are replaced by oblong, nearly black seed pods that offer their own ornamental characteristics to landscape. This plant is deer resistant and shade tolerant.
