Allium canadense

Common name: Wild Garlic

Native plant

This plant is super tough, thriving in nearly all growing conditions.  Showy, ball-shaped flowerheads range in color from purple to pink to white and attract a wide range of pollinators.  Excellent choice for a groundcover in shady areas.  As part of the onion family, herbivores such as rabbits and deer tend to steer clear of their foliage.
