Oak-leaved Hydrangea Hydrangea quercifoliaFour season interest and a fourth of July flower display. Native to southeastern United States. Its native range would indicate it needs protection and it does! Prefers 3-4 hours of morning sun and protection from wind. Beautiful flowers in late June and July. Leaves are oak-like in appearance and turn orange and red in the fall. The exfoliating bark on older stems adds winter interest.
