Downy Arrowwood Viburnum rafinesquianumDowny Arrowwood is the glossier bother of our common arrowwood. This species preferrs open woodlands and woodland edges and does quite well on Eastern exposures. The flower is a show stopper in late May. But the real show for this plant is in the fall. The color is brighter and more consistant that any variety of V. dentatum currently on the market. A real treat.
