Bittersweet Celastrus scandensThree season interest plant. Please let it climb on something or let it climb on itself, either way, it's a show stopper. Grows from 3-30 feet depending on what it is climbing on. An excellent vine, growing quickly in full sun. Only females bear fruit; therefore you need 1 male per 2-3 females. Its bright yellow fall color and orange fruit are sensational in arrangements. Should be grown on a fence or trellis but can be used as a ground cover on steep slopes.
