Sharp-lobed Hepatica Hepatica acutilobaBeautiful little spring bloomer. Forming small clumps of three lobed leaves that are over-topped by fine white to lavender petals in April.Unlike many other woodland flowers this plants leaves will persist late into the year adding a spot of reddish-green to any shaded area.The name Hepatica means liver-leafed and was thought to, at one point, to help with ailments to that organ.
