This is the black-eyed susan that we all know and love. Grows almost anywhere under almost any condition. The yellow flowers appear in late spring and last well into summer adding a bright spot to any prairie planting or garden. Can be aggressive and seeds freely, which may make it a nuisance, but only if it is planted without competition.
