Lake County Native Plant Sale

Spend Mother's Day weekend amid nature’s splendor and take home your own native species from the Lake County Forest Preserve District’s Mother's Day Native Plant Sale at their Independence Grove facility. There will be roughly 100 species of plants ranging from the smallest herb to our mighty trees. The herbs will be available in 2.5" plugs, half-pints, quarts and limited species in gallons, and the trees and shrubs in 5-gal containers making for easy transport. After your shopping is complete, we recommend a hike around the lake to help you enjoy the day. Hope to see you there.
