Great for almost any wetland. A 5' bulrush that can colonize to edge of a pond, lake or river. It can even compete with cattails. The name comes from its dark green leaves but it is the flower and seed head that can really have a visual impact on the landscape. Plus, it creates great marsh bird habitat.
